Philippe Coutinho brushed the disappointment surrounding his injury lay-off to one side as he and his family joined attended the Disney on Ice premier alongside some of his Liverpool team-mates.

The Brazil international has been ruled out for up to six weeks with ankle ligament damage sustained in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday.

He was taken off on a stretcher and was on crutches, wearing a protective boot as he appeared at the event in Liverpool on Wednesday, alongside team-mates Roberto Firmino, Adam Lallana, James Milner, Ragnar Klavan and former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
