Liverpool should push through a deal for Naby Keita even if he costs a club-record £70million, according to former midfielder Dietmar Hamann.
Red Bull Leipzig star Keita is on Jurgen Klopp's wishlist this summer as he looks to add a defensive midfielder to his squad ahead of the new season.
Keita has a buy-out clause of £48m which comes into play next year, but the Reds are willing to make a bigger bid in order to secure his services now.

Leipzig are reluctant to let the 22-year-old leave, meaning Liverpool may have to pay significantly more than the £39m club-record transfer they agreed for Mohamed Salah earlier in the window.
