Liverpool remain in contention for Bayern Munich defender David Alaba as the player father reveals 'nothing is fixed or signed' with Real Madrid

Liverpool remain in the frame to sign Bayern Munich utility player David Alaba though Real Madrid are favourites.

The 28-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Madrid have offered a lucrative four year deal but he is still deliberating over his final decision.

Bayern are also still to agree a new contract with full-back Jamal Musiala, the ex-Chelsea academy product has interest from Premier League clubs.
