Liverpool faced with defence dilemma ahead of Palace clash as Klopp prepares to play two midfielders

Liverpool are facing a defensive headache ahead of their crunch clash with tricky foe Crystal Palace, with Jurgen Klopp poised to select two midfielders as part of his back line on Saturday.

The Reds still hold a slender four-point lead at the summit of the Premier League, though must host a Palace side who recently took points from their title rivals Manchester City.

Speaking ahead of the fixture on Friday, Klopp confirmed several key defensive personnel are still in the treatment room and will require additional recovery time keeping them out of the Palace meeting.
