Liverpool have been handed a nightmare Christmas period in the 2021-22 Premier League campaign as Jurgen Klopp's men bid to regain the title after surrendering it to Manchester City last season.
The Reds swept all before them two seasons ago but injuries and a horrific run of form during a bleak winter saw their title challenge end with a whimper.
With Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are expected to be fit from the start of the season, and armed with any new arrivals Klopp can bring in, Liverpool start their campaign away at newly-promoted Norwich on August 14.
