Liverpool cut short left-back Owen Beck's loan spell at Dundee

Dundee say Owen Beck will be "greatly missed" after Liverpool recalled the left-back from his loan spell.

Beck played 20 times and scored twice in the opening half of the campaign, earning his first Wales call up.

However his fine form, coupled with Liverpool losing Scotland captain Andy Robertson and back up Kostas Tsimikas to injury, has led to the Premier League leaders cutting short the loan.

"Owen has been outstanding on and off the field," read a Dundee statement.

"We would like to thank him for all he has given and wish him all the very best for the future.
