Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirms Harvey Elliott will undergo surgery on dislocated ankle in London TODAY after horror injury suffered against Leeds

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Harvey Elliott will have surgery on his dislocated ankle in London today.

The 18-year-old Reds midfielder suffered the horror injury on Sunday in the 3-0 win against Leeds following a challenge by Pascal Struijk, who was subsequently sent-off.

Klopp, speaking ahead of Liverpool's opening Champions League game at home to AC Milan on Wednesday night, revealed Elliott is set to go under the knife today as he starts his recovery.
