Liverpool already planning city parade for the Reds in hope they achieve an historic quadruple

Liverpool travel to Villareal in the Champions League tonight chasing an unprecedented quadruple, while back home on Merseyside preparations are quietly underway for an almighty celebration should the historic feat be achieved.

No English club has ever landed the Premier League, Champions League, League Cup and FA Cup in one season.

The EFL Cup is already safely secured in the Anfield trophy cabinet and remarkably, the Reds are still in the running for the rest of the famous four.

Liverpool City Council has begun planning a celebration as Reds eye quadruple. The city laid on a huge party when Liverpool won the Champions League in 2019 (pictured)

And of course, Liverpool City Council wants to be ready to mark the moment with a city parade, if Jurgen Klopp's team achieve their extraordinary ambitions.
