Leeds are set to appoint former Borussia Dortmund assistant Rene Maric as their new assistant manager to complete Jesse Marsch's new-look coaching set-up

Leeds United are reportedly set to appoint 29-year-old Rene Maric as their assistant manager.

Maric left his role as Borussia Dortmund assistant in May when he and the rest of the coaching staff, including manager Marco Rose, were sacked at the end of the season.

Now, according to The Athletic, Maric is set to join Jesse Marsch's backroom staff at Elland Road to complete the new-look coaching set up following the departure of Marcelo Bielsa last season.
