It wasn't long ago that Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett was talking about the importance of central defender Jack Whatmough staying fit in the club's push for promotion.

Jackett perhaps didn't expect Whatmough, who has had interest from Premier League sides, to add to Pompey's downfall against Hull. But the 24-year-old defender scored two own goals as his side were mauled 4-0 by the top-of-the-table Tigers.
