Asante Kotoko are on the brink of confirming their place in the next round of the Ghana Special Competition following a 2-0 triumph over Medeama in Kumasi on Sunday.
Goals from Songne Yacouba and Safiu Abdul Fatawu were enough to win the Porcupines all three points in the Zone A top-of-the-table clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The penultimate matchday win has seen Kotoko displace Medeama from the top of the table, with the latter dropping down to the third spot.
