Julen Lopetegui will 'STAY at Wolves after decisive strategy talks' with the former Real Madrid boss 'speaking extensively with club chiefs over recruitment policy'

Julen Lopetegui is set to stay on as Wolves boss this summer after extensive talks with the club, according to reports.

Lopetegui only joined the club midway through the 2022-23 season, inheriting Bruno Lage's relegation-threatened side prior to the World Cup, taking charge of his first competitive game on December 20.

He ultimately succeeded in keeping the side in the Premier League, finishing the campaign on 41 points in 13th place.

Uncertainty had arisen over the former Spain and Real Madrid manager's immediate future at Molineux, with reports suggesting that the Basque boss was concerned by Wolves' FFP issues.
