Jordan Ayew: My hardwork has paid off with African Footballer of the Year nomination

Ghana international Jordan Ayew believes his presence in the 2019 African Footballer of the Year award shortlist is an indication of his improved form.

The Crystal Palace forward is one of only two Ghanaians in a list of 30 players announced by Caf for the running to be crowned the continent's best player in the year under review.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Teye Partey is the other Black Star in contention.
