The champagne had good reason to flow on Monday as a jubilant John Terry jetted off on his pre-season holiday with wife Toni, shortly after helping Aston Villa avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The Midlands based club’s assistant head coach was in understandably high spirits as he boarded a private jet with his wife, before cracking open a bottle of bubbly as they set off on their latest overseas holiday to Portugal.
Taking to their respective Instagram accounts, the couple were pictured raising their glasses while settling into a pair of comfortable leather seats close to the jet’s cockpit.
