It has been revealed that Jofra Archer injured his finger before England's tour of India while accidentally smashing a fish tank at home in January - which could now scupper his IPL deal.
The fast bowler is set to undergo surgery on Monday following his injury and England will now make a call this week on whether he will compete in the Indian Premier League.
And the Guardian have since revealed his injury came about in freak circumstances, after a fish tank was dropped in a bath while he was trying to clean it out.
