Jens Lehmann 'is targeting Dundee United job' with Arsenal 'Invincibles' keeper looking to seal his first management role in shock move to Scotland

Jens Lehmann is a shock candidate for the Dundee United job after the former Arsenal goalkeeper threw his hat into the ring for the vacant post at the Scottish Championship club.

Lehmann, who was part of the Arsenal 'Invincibles' that lifted the Premier League title in 2004, has been on the coaching staff at the Emirates.

His last role in the game was at Augsburg where he was assistant boss for three months, but according to the Evening Telegraph he is now ready for his first role in the hotseat.
