Ivan Toney SCORES on his Brentford return in a behind-closed-doors friendly as the striker makes first appearance since being hit with eight-month ban by the FA

Ivan Toney marked his return to football with a goal as Brentford B team drew 2-2 with Serie B side Como in a friendly behind closed doors on Tuesday afternoon.

The 27-year-old scored the Bees' first goal as he cancelled out Francesco Lipari's sixth minute opener, before Matt Dickov put the hosts ahead.

With an hour gone, Brentford cleared a corner upfield towards Frank Onyeka, who broke down the right wing and found Toney with a brilliant cross-field ball.

The England striker cooly flicked the ball over Como's keeper outside the box, before slotting it into the empty net for the Bees' equaliser.
