'It's ten years too late!': Neil Warnock takes a parting shot at Mike Dean amid talk of the controversial Premier League referee hanging up his whistle at the end of the season... insisting he has been too keen to 'get himself in the limelight'

Mike Dean is reportedly set to bring the curtain down on his Premier League refereeing career at the end of the season - and Neil Warnock couldn't resist a parting dig at him after hearing the news.

Dean, 53, will move into a full-time role as a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, claim The Telegraph.

And while the Professional Game Match Officials refused to be drawn on his potential move when approached by Sportsmail, the bookies have already slashed odds on the controversial official making an appearance on 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' later this year.
