Erik ten Hag has hit out at Premier League scheduling after star striker Marcus Rashford limped out of Manchester United's 2-0 win against Everton.
Rashford will have a scan after feeling discomfort in his groin and Ten Hag reacted by questioning why United were given the lunchtime Saturday fixture having been scheduled to face Newcastle as the televised match last Sunday night – making it three games in less than six days with a win against Brentford squeezed in between.
United have already played 49 games this season and have a further 16 in the league, Europa League and FA Cup.
