Issa Diop makes Premier League history with own goal against Arsenal

West Ham United defender Issa Diop made some Premier League history against Arsenal, but not the kind he will be bragging about any time soon.

The 21-year-old became the eighth player to score an own goal on his English topflight debut and the first Hammer to do so in the competition.

A miscued clearance soared up in the air and Aaron Ramsey nodded down for Alexandre Lacazette to drive into the goalmouth, with Diop only able to divert into his own net to give the Gunners a 2-1 lead.
