The Israeli derby between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv was marred by crowd trouble that resulted in 25 minutes of added time being played.

Maccabi and Hapoel faced off in the Tel Aviv derby in the Israeli Premier League in a heated clash that saw a barrage of flares thrown onto the pitch from both ends of the stadium, causing three lengthy first half stoppages of play.

Maccabi defeated Hapoel 3-0 in the end thanks to three second half goals after the first half lasted a staggering 70 minutes.
