Kerala Blasters FC are set to bolster their ailing defence by signing central defender José Luis Espinosa Arroyo, better known as Tiri, for the next Indian Super League (ISL) season, Goal can confirm.
Kerala have had a disappointing season this time around, with injuries to key defenders a major cause for their troubles. The Kochi-based side seem to be making their move for the 2020-21 season already.
Tiri is an established name in the Indian football circuit and is currently part of Jamshedpur FC. Though the 28-year-old is currently sidelined due to an injury he suffered during a clash with goalkeeper Subrata Paul against Kerala Blasters in the ongoing season, he has been one of the most consistent defenders in the ISL in the recent past.
