Sir Kenny Dalglish has refused to take any credit for bringing Jordan Henderson to Liverpool.
The England midfielder has captained Liverpool to their first Premier League title and their first league success in 30 years.
But Dalglish has admitted the error would have been his had he passed up the opportunity in 2011 to give the former Sunderland midfielder a chance to succeed at Anfield.
'I saw somebody who was better than what we had at that time in that position,' the 69-year-old is quoted as saying by The Independent.
