Former Chelsea goalkeeper Rob Green has revealed how his wife once mistook the club's £72million record-breaking shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga for a young fan who was looking for an autograph.
Spaniard Kepa arrived at Stamford Bridge from Athletic Bilbao in 2018 with huge expectations having become the most expensive goalkeeper in world football to replace the Real Madrid-bount Thibaut Courtois.
But Kepa, then 23, struggled to adapt to the Premier League and was guilty of a number of high-profile errors - falling out with first boss Maurizio Sarri and later being dropped by Frank Lampard following a string of clangers.
