Liverpool's end to the Premier League season was not quite how supporters dreamed it would be back in September when the delayed campaign got underway.

Jurgen Klopp's side brought the curtain down on a turbulent year with a final-day 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace to secure Champions League football for next season with a third-place finish.

But the Reds entered the season as defending runaway champions having ended a 30-year wait for the league title and were hoping to retain the crown in front of their supporters - who were unable to see them lift the Premier League trophy live last season due to the pandemic regulations.
