Football pundit Ally McCoist has claimed Gareth Bale should sign for Newcastle instead of Cardiff, after reports over a potential move to the Bluebirds emerged recently.
The Welsh international is out of a contract after his deal at Real Madrid came to an end this summer and has been closely linked with a move back to his boyhood club in the transfer window.
But McCoist claims that the former Galactico would be selling himself short by doing so and insists that the Welshman still has 'an awful lot to offer' a Premier League side.
