'He will play his minutes. It's normal that you have to adapt when you go to a new league.': Holland manager Frank de Boer backs Donny van de Beek to force his way into Manchester United's midfield after a slow start to his Old Trafford career

Holland manager Frank de Boer insists he isn't concerned about Donny van de Beek's peripheral role at Manchester United.

The 23-year-old joined the Red Devils from Ajax in the summer for a fee of £35.7million, but has only made four starts this season across all competitions and is yet to start a Premier League game.

De Boer understands the player's frustration but urged him to be patient and wait for his opportunity.
