HANDBALL Q&A: There was more VAR Premier League controversy after Liverpool's opener at Leeds was allowed to stand despite appeals against Trent Alexander-Arnold... but did VAR look at it? What do the laws say? And have we seen this before?

Another day in the Premier League and yet again, there's more controversy surrounding VAR.

The incident in question, on this occasion, took place during Liverpool's 6-1 demolition of Leeds in the Premier League on Monday night.

Jurgen Klopp's side took the lead through Cody Gakpo after 35 minutes, but the ball struck Trent Alexander-Arnold's hand earlier in the move.

VAR ruled the incident was too early in the move to have an impact on the goal, so it was allowed to stand to mass outcry from the home fans when replays were shown in the ground.
