‘It’s a big deal for football fans like me’ – Sauti Sol’s amazing night at the final in Lagos
Kenyan afro-pop superstars Sauti Sol were among the all-star guests at the Guinness Night Football Pan African extravaganza in Lagos last month.
While fans in attendance were treated to a performance by Sauti Sol, playing some of their biggest hits, the group themselves were also privileged to attend an event which also featured Davido, Bebe Cool, and England and Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand.
Obviously, football was at the heart of the evening, with Team Bold United defeating Team Gold Harp 3-2 to conquer the continent following a 5-a-side competition that has showcased the best local talent from Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda and Kenya.
