Adlene Guedioura has compared Nottingham Forest attacker Hillal Soudani to Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez.
The 30-year-old who joined the Reds in the summer impressed against Reading in Saturday’s Championship tie, scoring the solitary goal that helped Aitor Karanka’s men claim victory.
Overwhelmed by the performance of his countryman, the midfielder has praised the former Dinamo Zagreb dangerman for the fine display and likened him to the Citizens’ record signing.
“I think they have the same energy and technical ability, but Hillal is stronger and Riyad is quicker with the ball,” Guedioura told NottinghamshireLive.
“But they both play regularly for Algeria and they are both great players.
