Getafe announced their loan signing of Mason Greenwood with a video of fans celebrating the former Man United forward's arrival.
Supporters had gathered at the club's Coliseum Alfonso Perez stadium waiting for an announcement, and begun jumping and chanting when the news did eventually arrive.
The Spanish club will not be paying a fee for the English forward, but will cover a small contribution for his wages for the duration of the loan.
Greenwood hasn't played competitive football since December 2021, after he was arrested in January 2022 on suspicion of a number of offences including attempted rape.
