Genk winger Mike Tresor arrives in the UK to finalise Burnley loan switch as Vincent Kompany eyes up Divock Origi move

Genk winger Mike Tresor is in England to complete a medical with Burnley ahead of a loan move.

The potential transfer has been ongoing for weeks but is set to come to a conclusion before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Friday.

The Clarets will have an option to buy the 24-year-old at the end of the season.

Tresor has nine goals and 33 assists for Genk over the last two seasons and will become the fifth Belgian in Vincent Kompany’s squad.

Kompany still wants a striker – with links to another Belgian in former Liverpool favourite Divock Origi – and a central midfielder before the window closes.
