Gary Neville urges Man United bosses to 'stop the experiments' after Ruben Amorim's sacking as club legend explains what Red Devils must target in a new coach

Gary Neville has called upon Manchester United hierarchy to stop experimenting with their coaching hires following the shock sacking of former manager Ruben Amorim.

The Portuguese head coach was sensationally fired on Monday morning, less than 24 hours after giving an extraordinary rant aimed at club bosses following the club's 1-1 draw against Leeds on Sunday afternoon.

Daily Mail Sport understands that the decision to dismiss Amorim was taken on Friday on the heels of a meeting between director of football Jason Wilcox and the manager following their draw with Wolves last Tuesday.
