Fulham 'offer Willian a new one-year deal - which includes an extension option after the end of next season' - as reward for 34-year-old's fruitful first campaign at Craven Cottage

Fulham have offered Willian a new one-year deal at Craven Cottage, according to reports.

The Cottagers decided to reward the 34-year-old Brazilian with a new contract after his impressive debut season helped Marco Silva's side secure a top half finish in the Premier League last campaign.

Willian's new deal will reportedly include an option to extend for a following year, so long as both parties agree to the clause.

The winger signed a one-year deal with Fulham last summer and has since re-entered the free agency market.

It is understood that Willian is taking some time to consider his future while away on holiday, keen either to reunite with Fulham or join a new side in time for pre-season training.
