Fulham join Nottingham Forest in race for Monaco's Ismail Jakobs as Marco Silva seeks to address urgent full-back problem ahead of their opening day clash with Everton

Fulham have become the latest club to show interest in Monaco left-back Ismail Jakobs.

Jakobs has already been on the radar of Nottingham Forest this summer and is now wanted by a second Premier League side.

Manager Marco Silva spoke openly about Fulham’s shortage of full-backs during their pre-season tour of America.

They have Kenny Tete and Kevin Mbabu, who made just a handful of appearances last season before joining Servette for the second half of the campaign, for the right back slot.

Antonee Robinson is their only available left-back, the position where Jakobs predominantly plays, though he is also capable of performing further up the left flank.
