Frank Lampard has 'no concerns' over Chelsea target Anthony Gordon's future at Everton, with the winger in talks over a new contract to reward his progress over the last 12 months

Frank Lampard insists he has no worries about Anthony Gordon's future and has urged the young England star to focus on the pursuit of self-improvement.

Gordon, who was the subject of intense interest from Chelsea during the summer window, has a contract with Everton that runs to June 2025 but the club have been in discussions about upgrading his deal in recognition of the progress he has made over the last 12 months.

There were reports over the weekend that Gordon was not happy with the terms that were claimed to being offered - in the region of £100,000 per week - but that has been dismissed by sources close to the 21-year-old and Lampard certainly hasn't seen anything to suggest he is unhappy.
