Former Watford and Burnley striker Andre Gray set to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Riyadh on a free transfer after his contract with Aris Salonika was cancelled by mutual consent

Former Watford and Burnley striker Andre Gray is heading to Saudi Arabia – even though their transfer window closed on Thursday.

Gray’s contract with Aris Salonika was cancelled by mutual consent last week allowing him to join Al-Riyadh as a free agent with the deal expected to be confirmed soon.

The 32-year-old has been a consistent goalscorer in England for several clubs including Luton, Brentford and QPR before going to play in Greece in 2022.

He married Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock earlier this year and also has 13 international caps for Jamaica.
