Former Premier League referee Mike Dean put his VAR duties on pause to watch five football matches in the Netherlands on his annual trip to the Netherlands with his daughter.

Dean retired from refereeing at the end of last season after 22 years of on-field duties in the top flight.

But Sportsmail revealed last summer that Dean would be staying in the Premier League after signing a deal to become a dedicated VAR official this season.
