Mario Mandzukic is set to end six months in exile by joining Celta Vigo on a free transfer - having reportedly spurned the opportunity to move to Aston Villa and West Ham.
The 34-year-old has been out of contract since leaving Qatari club Al-Duhail earlier in the year and can still be signed as a free agent which enables him to join any side outside of the transfer window.
Reports suggested Aston Villa and West Ham were keen to offer the Croatian a late career dabble in the Premier League but according to Di Marzio he turned down offers from both.
