A forklift truck driver who was part of a gang that blew £175,000 on Manchester City's Riyad Mahrez's bank card partying in Ibiza, guzzling Champagne and boutique shopping has been jailed for nearly four years.

Mahrez failed to notice £175k missing from his bank account for more than a month after Mohamed Sharif's alleged one-month spending spree, during which time the 32-year-old fraudster was serving two suspended sentences.

The Premier League winger, who earns £200k a week, took almost five weeks to block his card while Mohamed Sharif enjoyed a taste of the high life, it was said.
