Paul Pogba delivered a stirring speech in the tunnel to his Manchester United team-mates before producing a masterclass performance as they beat Huddersfield on Boxing Day.
Footage has emerged of the United midfielder rallying the troops and reminding them of their responsibilities as they prepared to step out on to the Old Trafford pitch for their pre-game warm-up.
Pogba could be heard in the video saying: 'When we go we go... pressing first ones! Now we're at home. We go strong, we start strong!'
The Frenchman had been United's vice-captain during Jose Mourinho's tenure but was stripped of that earlier this season with the Portuguese boss believing he lacked the maturity and commitment to flourish in the role.
