When Covid hit and football was played in empty stadiums, we all saw exactly how important supporters are.

We are the lifeblood of the game. Without us football is nothing. But, somehow, we are simply not considered by the broadcasters and the Premier League when it comes to scheduling games.

Look, I get it. We all benefit from the money the broadcast companies pump into the game.

Fans may struggle to get back from the game with kick off not scheduled until 8pm

Clubs get paid a lot and the Premier League has become one of best leagues in the world.

But the consideration match-going supporters are given is so poor.
