Brighton head of medical and performance Adam Brett has left his role at the Premier League club, Mail Sport can reveal.

Brett has become a key member of the club’s backroom team during their rise to prominence in the Premier League since their promotion in 2017, working under Nathan Jones, Chris Hughton, Graham Potter and current head coach Roberto De Zerbi.

However, it is understood the highly respected medical practitioner has left the Amex Stadium in recent weeks.

The circumstances behind Brett’s exit have not been confirmed, with the matter viewed as being private.
