Everton boss Sam Allardyce urges Morgan Schneiderlin to let his 'football do the talking' after fans booed him during win against Crystal Palace

Sam Allardyce has challenged Morgan Schneiderlin to recapture his best form and win over his noisy critics in the only way possible.

The France international was booed onto the pitch when he was introduced as a substitute in Everton's last game, a 3-1 home win over Crystal Palace on February 10. It was a jarring incident, one which Allardyce admitted came as a 'surprise'.

Schneiderlin has endured a season to forget, with his performances patchy and his attitude called into question on several occasions, not least back in November when he – along with Kevin Mirallas – was involved in a training ground spat with Everton coach Duncan Ferguson.
