Erik ten Hag's response to a question about whether he would rotate his squad for Thursday night's home Europa League fixture with Omonia Nicosia was a laudable one.

It could be taken as an indication that standards are rising once again at Manchester United. Winning at all costs is the club's mantra, as it used to be.
