Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has deleted his Twitter account due to 'the platform changing' as the England international has diverted his fanbase to other social media channels.

The 24-year-old has been placed under heightened scrutiny this season amid poor results from his side, and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.

After being named Chelsea player of the year in 2020-21 and 2021-22, he has scored just three goals this term amid a dip in form.

The Blues have suffered accordingly, slipping to 11th in the Premier League table after a turbulent season to date.
