Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson was left out of their season opener with Wolves amid an approach from Galatasaray.
City manager Pep Guardiola put the Brazilian's absence down to illness.
'He had stomach problems yesterday, he vomited and didn’t feel good,' said Guardiola. 'The doctors decided he should stay in Manchester.'
However, it is also understood Galatasaray have made an offer of around £8.6million for the 31-year-old who has been considering his future over the past year.
City would want more to sell Ederson but, should he depart, they hold an interest in Gianluigi Donnarumma of Paris St Germain.
