Eddie Howe insists he's 'delighted' for youngster Lewis Miley after netting a 'massive goal in our season'... as the 17-year-old became Newcastle's youngest EVER Premier League goalscorer in 3-0 victory over Fulham

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe commended teenager Lewis Miley for his historic performance as Newcastle's youngest Premier League goalscorer.

Propelling the team to a 3-0 victory over a ten-man Fulham, Miley, a 17-year-old midfielder, entered the match as a first-half replacement for the injured Joelinton and broke the deadlock in the 57th minute.

His goal paved the way for Miguel Almiron and Dan Burn to secure the win by adding to the Magpies' tally.

Speaking after the match, Howe expressed his joy for Miley: 'I'm delighted for him. Today was his moment.
