Derby 2-1 Fulham: Wayne Rooney's side halt their opponents' Premier League promotion party as the struggling Rams produce a superb second-half comeback to keep their faint hopes of survival alive

Derby gave themselves a glimmer of hope in their battle to stay in the Championship by beating league leaders Fulham 2-1 at Pride Park on Friday.

The visitors went in front in the 20th minute as Bobby Decordova-Reid set up Fabio Carvalho who coolly slotted the ball past Ryan Allsop.

Derby hit back six minutes after half time, though, with Luke Plange latching onto Lee Buchanan's cross to tap home from close range, before Tosin Adarabioyo turned the ball into his own net with 16 minutes remaining. The result means Fulham will have to wait a little longer to seal promotion back to the Premier League.
