David Warner and Steve Smith arrive in Sydney after competing in the Indian Premier League before heading into mandatory two-week hotel quarantine

Steve Smith and David Warner were spotted arriving back in Australia on Thursday after returning home from the Indian Premier League.

The cricketers flew into Sydney from the United Arab Emirates after spending more than two months abroad playing tournaments.

The sportsmen were escorted out of the airport by police, before entering into a mandatory two-week hotel quarantine.

Both Steve, 31, and David wore face masks as they left the airport, with each cricketer pushing their own trolley loaded up with luggage.

David, 34, emerged from his flight dressed in light blue denim shorts, which he paired with a black jumper.
